Chad McQueen, actor and son of Steve McQueen, died at 63 from organ failure.

He suffered a fall in 2020 and  never fully recovered from  the resulting injuries.

McQueen was best known for his role as Dutch, a Cobra Kai bully, in The Karate Kid (1984) and The Karate  Kid Part II (1986).

His children, Chase and Madison, praised their father's love, dedication, and racing passion in a public statement.

Chad McQueen did not return for  The Karate Kid Part III or the  modern Cobra Kai series.

Beyond acting, McQueen followed  his father’s footsteps into auto  racing, though a crash in 2006  ended his career.

McQueen Racing, his high-performance vehicle company,  is now run by his children.

Chad McQueen’s parents, Steve McQueen and Neile Adams, were married from 1956 until 1972.

Chad is survived by his mother, his second wife Jeanie, and his three children, including actor Steven R. McQueen.

Donations in his memory can be made to Boys Republic, a charity helping disadvantaged youth.
