Baton Rouge dancer Sean Viator,  known for performing with celebrities,  passed away at 31.

Viator graduated from St. Michael  the Archangel High School and De Frances Academy of Dance.

He earned a bachelor's degree in dance from the University of Arizona,  graduating summa cum laude.

Viator's achievements include performances with Christina Aguilera, Demi Lovato, Kylie Minogue, and Sam Smith.

He appeared in TV shows like "American Idol," "Eurovision Song Contest," and  "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel."

Viator was a faculty member at the Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles.

Colleagues remember him as a hardworking and beloved instructor.

He taught at prestigious institutions like Broadway Dance Center and American Musical Dramatic Academy College.

A celebration of life for Viator will be held in Baton Rouge, with a request to wear bright colors in his honor.

A dance scholarship has been established in his name at The  University of Arizona School of Dance.
