Tower Porchfest celebrates community and local talent.

The event turns neighborhood porches into stages for music and art.

It's organized by volunteers and is free for everyone.

Porchfest happens on April 27  from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

It covers a 3-mile radius in Tower District neighborhoods.

Residents offer their porches for performances free of charge.

Restaurants will be open, and some porches will offer food items.

Performers include various music genres like house, R&B, folk, rock, jazz, ska, and Latin.

Parking will be relaxed, and walking/biking is encouraged.

Volunteers are needed, and  donations are accepted online.
