E-scooters are coming back to
a town center after a previous scheme ended in 2022.
Slough Borough Council announced 300 e-scooters and 25 e-bikes by provider Zipp Mobility from May 28.
Savio DeCruz, associate director of operations, looks forward to residents choosing more active travel modes.
The previous e-scooter scheme,
part of a national trial, ended due
to contract issues with Neuron Mobility UK.
Mr. DeCruz hopes residents will embrace the new scheme.
Users are urged to return
e-scooters and e-bikes to
designated points and be
respectful of others.
Some residents expressed
concerns about poorly parked
e-scooters and dangerous driving.
